MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO ANYONE WHO LIVES,WORKS, WORSHIPS OR ATTENDS SCHOOL IN BALTIMORE CITY.
You can also join MECU if you are a relative by blood or marriage to anyone who lives, regularly works, worships or attends school in Baltimore City or if you are a current or former employee of a company or employer, which is a MECU "Select Employee Group". If you meet these requirements, follow the simple steps below to join MECU and start enjoying all the benefits of membership.

If you are eligible, you can become a MECU member by opening a share savings account. Just follow the 3 steps below:
| Step 1 | Download a copy of the " Account Application" in PDF Format*. (* PDF is a file format for Adobe Acrobat Reader®. If you do not have Acrobat Reader, please download from Adobe®.) |
| Step 2 | Print the Account Application and complete it in its entirety. Please list the type of account you wish to open in the space provided. |
| Step 3 | Be sure to sign the Account Application and enclose a copy of your valid state or military issued ID and a check for at least the minimum account opening amount for each new account made payable to MECU of Baltimore, Inc., and mail to: MECU of Baltimore, Inc.
