MECU Hosts Annual Golf Tournament

After two years of canceling our premier event due to COVID-19, the MECU Foundation is pleased to announce that it is holding its 16th Annual MECU Charity Cup Golf Tournament on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Pine Ridge Golf Course in Lutherville, MD.

Over the years, the MECU Foundation has donated nearly $600,000 for scholarships, educational programs, and other community causes. With your help, we can make this year’s MECU Charity Cup another record-setting fundraising event so that we can continue to support education for our youth.

This year’s tournament will be held in honor of Herman Williams, Jr., also known as the “Chief,” who served as MECU’s Chairman of the Board for almost 30 years and who founded the MECU Charity Cup Golf Tournament in 2005. He was passionate about education and giving back to our community, and his vision served as the inspiration to make this event a success year over year.
