We are providing this information so that you can prepare for the upgrade weekend and minimize its impact on you. Our goal remains to provide our members with the highest quality of service and the best experience.

This upgrade will allow us to serve you better, offer enhanced products and digital services, and provide innovative member solutions.
The upgrade will begin on Friday, November 3, at 3 pm and be completed on Monday, November 6. MECU will reopen for business on Monday, November 6, at approximately 2 pm.
Balance inquiries will be unavailable from Friday, November 3, at 3 pm, through Monday, November 6, at approximately 2 pm.
MECU’s branch locations will close on Friday, November 3, at 3 pm and reopen on Monday, November 6, at approximately 2 pm. ATMs are available 24/7.
Yes, you will be able to use your Debit and Credit Cards as normal.
All scheduled payments will process as normal.
Your member number will remain the same. 
Your account number will remain unchanged unless you receive a notice about an account number change  in the mail. The vast majority of our members will experience no change.
You may contact us regarding a mortgage, home equity, or personal loan by calling 800-373-2914. Please note that we will be unable to process loan applications or make loan decisions until sometime after our systems are up on Monday, November 6, 2023.

You may apply for an auto loan directly at a dealership, however, you will not receive a decision until our systems are up on Monday.
Your direct deposits will post as normal.
We suggest these helpful hints:
  • Try to conduct any branch visits before Friday, November 3.
  • Make sure your contact information is up to date so you can receive updates.
  • Mark your calendar, as there will be some service interruptions.
  • Schedule online bill payments and transfers in advance, as the system will not be available to schedule payments and transfers from Friday, November 3, through Monday, November 6. All scheduled payments and transfers will process as normal.
