What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
How to Open a Money Market Account
It’s easy to open a MECU Money Market account. Just follow the 3 steps below:
Step 1: Download a copy of the "Account Card" in PDF Format*. (* PDF is a file format for Adobe Acrobat Reader®. If you do not have Acrobat Reader, please download from Adobe®.)
Step 2: Print the form and complete it according to the directions provided.
Step 3: Be sure to sign the form, enclose a check for your initial deposit of at least $500.00 made payable to Municipal Employees Credit Union of Baltimore, Inc., and mail to:
